IDEA participated in the Annual Multi-Yeda Convention

During the three-day annual Multi-Yeda convention that took place in Kfar Maccabiya Hotel in September 2011, Idea Information systems presented a comprehensive demonstration of significant innovations included in its new version of the IDEA@ALM 7.1 systems
Some of the major innovations for libraries are:
• Innovative, modernly designed web interface
• Cataloguing via WEB interface
• Combining of embedded content in items
• Supporting Web 2.0 features - Rating items, writing recommendations and reviews by the users
• Thesaurus - Glossary management infrastructure and creation of data map
• Search Lists by topic, to expand search options
• Support of international library standards : MARC Z39.50, and Web Services
• Import and export interface — to export the library catalog to other libraries and import from external catalogs (- ULI, Library of Congress)
